Ultra-high voltage XKPE cable accessories are classified into terminal box and middle box types, based on the purposes. Terminal box types include Outdoor Sealing End (EB-A: indoor type ozone-resistant type), Gas Immersed Sealing End (EB-G) and Oil Immersed Sealing End (EB-O). Middle box types include Tape Joint type (TJ), Prefabricated Joint type (PJ), Pre-molded Joint type (PMJ) and Class 2 type.
This device is used to connect cables and is classified into two types, ordinary and insulated box. Ordinary box connect metallic sheath with conductors while insulated box disconnect metallic sheaths from each other.
